Paula Gascón

Psychologist and therapist

I am a psychologist and therapist working with teenagers, young adults, and adults who experience emotional and psychological difficulties. I support people facing anxiety and depressive symptoms, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem and relationship issues, as well as stress related to academic, life, and cultural transitions.

I hold a Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from the University of Zaragoza, with additional training in Mindfulness, Emergency and Crisis Intervention, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is the main approach I use in my work.

My professional experience includes work in rehabilitation with individuals with severe mental disorders, therapeutic work in a private clinic, and psychological support for people affected by gender-based violence. I have also led preventive and psychoeducational workshops for teenagers focused on emotional regulation, bullying prevention, and suicide prevention.

Mindfulness and body awareness are an important part of my work. I practice yoga and mindfulness regularly and integrate these elements into therapy when helpful. Having lived abroad several times myself, I feel especially comfortable working with expats and people navigating change and adjustment.
